Who we are

We are different

Running your business or organisation can be challenging, after all it is a competitive world.

You should receive more from your accountant than just making sure your accounts are prepared and filed on time. (This is what we call ‘Compliance Work’.)

Why are so many businesses moving to our firm? Our work begins where others stop…

Of course, compliance work is an essential part of the services all accountants should perform, and we perform them to the highest possible standard. Our clients also receive the benefit of us going further.

You want to focus on the core of your business and we also want you to do that. You need a trusted advisor that will support you, be on your side and look out for you. An advisor that will offer sound business advice, someone to bounce your ideas off of, and, when required, challenge you and keep you on the right path.

How we go further

How do we go further? Here is a summary of exactly what makes us different:

  • Proactive tax advice to reduce your tax liabilities
  • We make recommendations that help to make improvements and prevent problems from happening in the first instance
  • Our fixed fees are agreed in advance, so no unexpected surprises
  • Our staff are friendly and supportive, getting straight to the point - no jargon involved!
  • You will have a dedicated contact so there is continuity of contact and someone who will know you and your business
  • Our people are trained to a high standard and therefore have the knowledge needed to give the right support
  • We are the right size – not too big that we are faceless and forget the importance of you, the client; not too small that we do not have the resources, experience, or expertise to support you.

Changing accountants

It can seem the easiest way forward to stay with your current accountant because you have always been with them.

Not everybody likes change, we understand that. But we also realise that sometimes the level of support you need to be successful in managing your business changes.

Why not arrange a free meeting and gain a second opinion – fresh eyes may offer you the valuable advice that you need.

If you decide to change accountants the process is straightforward. You only need to tell your current accountant of the change and we do the rest. What we do:

  • Contact your current accountant for historical information so that we are ready to offer you support from day one
  • Arrange for any books and records to be returned
  • Contact HM Revenue & Customs to update their records of a change of advisor
  • Update Companies House records for a change of registered office address (if relevant)
